The company’s San Diego location has been designing, building and maintaining ships for the U.S. Navy and commercial customers since the 1960s and is the largest, full-service shipyard on the West Coast. Today, the company is located in four strategic ports, including Bremerton, Washington; Norfolk, Virginia; Mayport, Florida; and San Diego, California. The company also provides global ship maintenance and repair.
General Dynamics NASSCO is one of three shipyards in the Marine Systems group of General Dynamics Corporation.
