We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Weld Shop. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for a J-3 Welder. The hours are 0600 to 1445 with a 45 min lunch.
Shift : ALL
Security Clearance: No Clearance
JOURNEYPERSON 3 (Welder)
Should be able to weld using SMAW, GMAW and FCAW welding process.
Quality of weld should be acceptable for N.D.T.
Should be able to weld some pipe using SMAW process.
Should be able to weld Steel, aluminum, copper nickel, stainless steel.
Should be able to hook up oxygen and acetylene torch and read weld gauges.
Should be able to use hand tools with little supervision.
Must know standard item 1689 and the guide lines of 5 S.
