SUMMARY

Supports IT operations by managing projects, user requests, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) requirements. Handles ticket updates, account management, and contributes to process improvements. Reports to the Supervisor of Business Controls.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  • Update and close assigned service tickets with detailed status and resolution documentation.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex user requests efficiently.
  • Act as a primary interface with users, ensuring adherence to compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ensure all user tickets have proper approvals in alignment with compliance protocols.
  • Track and report on compliance-related incidents, escalating concerns to higher levels when necessary.
  • Identify compliance risks related to user lifecycle or documentation gaps.
  • Assist in the lifecycle management of user accounts, including leave-of-absence, and changes of department.
  • Participate in periodic audits and reviews to verify compliance and IT security policies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving compliance workflows and technical processes and recommend solutions to enhance
  • efficiency and security.
  • Assist in enforcement of access control policies and management of role-based permissions.
  • Maintain and update department documentation, including user guides, work instructions, and procedures according to organizational standards.
  • Prepare and manage project execution plans for assigned projects.
  • Set project deadlines, assign responsibilities and coordinate work teams in concert with IT Department Management.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented appropriately.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Requires 3 – 5 years of experience, preferably in IT compliance, governance, risk management, or related IT fields.
  • Requires 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Certifications (preferred): PMI, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or certifications related to CMMC compliance.
  • Ability to follow and enforce compliance protocols within IT workflows.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, access control, and compliance programs.
  • Must be able to work independently, assign and follow up on its own work.
  • Strong user service skills, with experience in interfacing directly with end-users.
  • Experience with using tools such a Jira, Confluence and Tableau required.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, or controls, and to talk and hear. Must be physically able to walk to all yard locations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY

Responsible for ensuring user requests are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with the organization’s protocols. This position is largely responsible for user satisfaction, maintaining reliable technical functionality, and contributing to the improvement of IT processes.

 

 

PAY SCALE

$100,600 - $130,200

 

This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
